Story

The Advertiser is launching a new campaign to raise £60,000 for Stockdales.

We have joined forces with the charity, as it celebrates its 60th birthday, to help it continue to support adults and children with special needs for another 60 years and beyond.
Stockdales runs four houses in Sale- Ashton, Harboro, Hayling and Headonhey- which provide residential care and short breaks for those with the very highest needs.

It also helps people with learning disabilities develop skills and confidence, so they can live independent lives, through its Lifeskills service.

In total it gives more than 200 children and adults the chance to reach reach their full potential in life.

We need to raise £60,000 so Stockdales can reach more children, young people and adults.

And that's where you come in- all money raised through the Advertiser's campaign will be used to help fund its activity and educational support service.

This means people who need it the most will have access to literacy and numeracy classes, and practical skills classes including woodwork, allotment growing, dance and drama.

Together we can help Stockdales stay at the heart of the community for years to come.
