Story
The Cause:
According to UNICEF, as many as four million Syrian children are in need of urgent humanitarian assistance. Many of these children belong to refugee families who are now living in Lebanon.
The World Federation has been working hard to provide assistance to these displaced refugee families to provide food, clothing, shelter and other essentials, alleviating their hardships in the wake of the conflict.
Why donate?
This Ramadhan, these Syrian refugee families need your help to lighten the day to day financial pressures they have – at least during this Blessed month.
As the cousin of the Prophet (pbuh), Imam Ali said, “Do not be ashamed if the amount of charity is small, because to refuse the needy is a greater act of shame.”
The Challenge:
I will be living on £1.25 a day from 1st - 5th July, as an act of solidarity with these families who have to live on this amount every day.
Help me raise as much money as I can to contribute to the team target of £10000!
