<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.</p> <p>2011 will be the 50th anniversary of the start of production of the modern MG Midget and in celebration of the model and the MG marque in general Roy Locock and Chris Vernon will be driving from Abingdon(the home of MG) in the UK to Capetown in South Africa in these 30+yr old cars.Departure is planned for 11th September 2011 and arrival estimated to be around 10th December.</p> <p>Roy's site <a href="http://www.bridgetthemidget.co.uk">www.bridgetthemidget.co.uk</a> will follow the experience from the planning to the return.</p> <p>The adventure will be totally funded by the participants who will also be raising funds for CoCo undertaking education and healthcare initiatives in several African countries.The Midgeteers hope to visit one or two of the projects in sub saharan Africa as they wend their way to Capetown</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
