Story

On Friday 8th of June i'll be shaving my beloved afro off for charity, please feel free to donate.

A lot of people are telling me not to do it, my brother’s warned that my wonky ears will be exposed, my girlfriend has said that my head's too funny shaped to be sporting a bold hair style... But what’s more important, my wonky ears or the 1 million orphaned kids in Zambia, Africa? That's right 1 million orphans! In a country that has a population of around 10million people, 10% of that are orphaned kids. It's just one of those statics that I can't just sit there & do nothing about hence, 'The fro has got to go!' As the explorer David Livingstone once said, a quote which i've got tattooed around my wrist, "Sympathy is no substitute for action"....... This is my action.

Thank you very much for reading!! :)

OH & don’t forget, if you do decide to kindly sponsor you can text a donation for free send 'KSUF94 £ (the amount you’d like to donate)' to 70070 to donate free of network charges, many thanks & also thanks to Vodafone for being kind enough to have it as a free service.

More about the charity I'm shaving my hair for:

 Zambia Society Trust.

http://www.zambiasocietytrust.org.uk/aboutus.htm .

It's a British-registered charity devoted to helping the poor especially orphans,to promote health, education and to help them attain better skills in life. The Zambia Society supports a wide range of projects in Zambia. Many of the projects we support provides pratical help for the orphans and other vunerable children, including those whose parents or surviving parent are unable to care for them. One of the projects is called a "Seeds" project which gives them the knowledge of how to grow their own vegetables and also provide them with basic schooling. The society itself is made up of entirely volunteers so has little or no overheads.
