Hi there,
Myself and 5 mates, with a support van and crew of 2, are setting out on the 18th June to cycle from John O'Groats to Land's End. To make things exciting we are going the "wrong" way, heading South into the prevailing wind, and hope to average 80 miles per day, taking around 12 days to complete the approximate distance of 950 miles.
I am raising money for the RNLI, although the initial impetus for taking on this challenge was to help one of us celebrate his 40th birthday. Not me !!
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: RNLI - Royal National Lifeboat Institution will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now, and pass the word around so I can maximise my contribution to such a worthy cause.
Many thanks for your support.

PS We finished on the 1st July, having completed 956 miles at 15 miles an hour average for the time in the saddle. We all made it and celebarted with Cornish Pasties, Strawberries, Clotted cream and Champagne. Haute cuisine or what !! What a great experiece, and thanks for your support
