 The reason i am taking to the catwalk march the 10th.

After numerous trips to the doctors i was sent for a scan in november 2014. I then received a telephone from my GP while in work to say that the results of the scan indicated something sinister was going on, just as the phone was being put down to end the call the doctor said you are aware its likely to be ovarian cancer, then silence as the as the call terminated 

My life changed in that second, and that of my family. Without the help of Ovacome i would not have got through the dark  early days.

I want to raise awareness of the symptoms of ovarian cancer, to Woman and gps as the symptoms are often misdiagnosed as ibs, which you do not suddenly get in later life.  Early detection saves lives. Ovarian cancer is called the silent killer, there are symptoms  but they are subtle. Ovacome are one of the charities who do this, by raising awareness, supporting women at all stages of there illness. Without there help i would not have got through the dark early days, please support the events i am doing to raise money or just donate every £1.00 goes toward saving lives.
