I am so grateful to you for supporting me on my big challenge to reach Machu Picchu for The Ayrshire Hospice. Our Hospice is a compassionate, experienced source of outstanding quallity care and services which helps people with life limiting illness and their families get the most out of life. It costs £17,000 every day of the year to keep our services going and we need to fundraise over £4 million a year. As Chief Executive of the Hospice I wanted to make a personal contribution to that target, to lead the team for the Hospice and to challenge myself in my 50th year. I am privleged to be joined on this trek by my lovely cousin Ellen, by Graeme from our fundraising dept. and Carole from our In Patient Unit.
