Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit Aileen's page that our family have decided to set up as a memorial to one brave lady who was loved by many.

Aileen, also known as Jen's mum, Bob's loving wife and Mrs C to Paul 😘 was very sadly taken from us on 4th February 2021, 8 days before her 80th Birthday after a tragic accident at home a month before & complications.

Why is this page donating to The Kidney Fund?

Aileen's health journey started 16 years ago, after she was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder that affected her kidneys. The renal unit at St Hellier Hospital, which this charity supports research, saved her life & we are grateful that her ongoing treatment & care gave us many more years for her to enjoy life, making memories with family & friends.

Thankful each & every day for the expertise, attention to detail, ongoing research & amazing personal care that she received, Aileen was a strong supporter, fundraiser & champion for The Kidney Fund and her wishes were always for us to continue this after her passing.

😘 Missing my mum every day that passes since she left us but our family are grateful for any donations that friends can spare to continue her support for her chosen charity that literally gave her extra years.

Thank you & sending love to you all in these challenging times.
