Avenue of the volcanoes · 29 November 2019

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

In November I will be climbing 4 volcanoes in Ecuador with the largest standing at 5897m. To put that into perspective, it is higher than Mount Kilimanjaro or Everest base camp or is like doing 5 Snowdons!!! And that's after I will have already climbed 3 volcanoes!!!!!!!!

Now the most tasking thing I've done similar to something like this is probably DofE so it's safe to say this is WAAAAY out of my comfort zone and it's going to be a real challenge for me. I'm excited and nervous and half thinking what the hell have I signed myself up for! But it will all be worth it.

I'm doing this to raise money for The Prince's Trust which is a fantastic charity that helps vulnerable young people get back on track. Being a 'young' person myself I feel I've been pretty lucky in life so far so I'm doing this to give back to people that are a similar age to me who haven't been as fortunate.

So I'm calling on friends, family, acquaintances, strangers... anyone and everyone to please donate to this amazing charity to help me reach my goal. Any donations will be so greatly appreciated from me so thank you so so much if you do donate!!! :)
