UK Three Peaks 24 hour Challenge · 17 May 2019

First Love Foundation is a charity fighting poverty in Tower Hamlets. Our Advocacy & Advice team works to tackle the root causes of poverty faced by low-income households, enabling them to live sustainable and independent lives.

Story

On Friday 17th May 2019 I will be climbing the UK Three Peaks within 24 hours as part of a Barclays team! This involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales, within a day. The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is approximately 2064 metres (10,052 ft). The total driving distance is 462 miles (mountain to mountain)

The 24-hour clock will start from the moment we begin to climb Ben Nevis. From there, the 24 hours includes both walking time and travel between the mountains - approximately 13 hours hillwalking and over 11 hours driving (excluding travel time to Ben Nevis)!

We are doing this in order to raise money for two amazing charities, East Cheshire Hospice in Macclesfield and First Love Food Bank Foundation in Tower Hamlets. Please help by donating towards these great causes - every little helps!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
