Story

I am raising money for Cancer Treatment and Research Trust - Charing Cross Hospital

There are 2 hospitals in the UK that specialise in Molar Pregnancies, one of which is in London (Charing Cross) and the other being in Sheffield.

In May 2004, my wife Sarah had a Molar Pregnancy something which neither of us had heard of before and she had to have 4 months of chemotherapy to kill the pre-cancerous cells that had grown as a result of this.

In November 2004 Sarah was given the all clear.

In June 2008 our first daughter Georgia was born and in November 2010 we had our second daughter Gabriella.

One lady, who lived in the Midlands who needed treatment, had to be transported to Charing Cross by private ambulance which when speaking with her in the ward, was horrendous as she had a young child and husband who could not make the journey with her.
