LivIsoc Charity Week - Climbing Mount Snowdon · 6 October 2013

Together with local partners and country offices, we’re working in the world’s poorest countries to tackle the root causes of poverty and respond in emergencies, disasters and conflicts.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I will be climbing Mount Snowdon on 03/11/2013 as part of the Liverpool Islamic Society in order to raise as much money as possible to run a bread factory in Aleppo, Syria.

It costs approximately £467 per day to run this bread factory with a monthly running cost of around £14,000. This Bread factory produces 6,000 loaves per day, which are delivered by volunteers to 1,500 needy and poor families. This amounts to around 7,500 individuals being fed on a daily basis.

Two million people - one million of them children - have been forced to leave Syria. Still more are struggling to survive inside the country and it is our duty to step up and help those desperatley in need. Allah increases the reward of our charitable deeds. Whenever we give in charity from earning that is lawful, Allah multiplies our good deed.
