Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

First of all a bit about the ride. It begins on at Seahouses and ends at Tynemouth Priory 54.5 miles down the coastal route on the beautiful North East Coast! As you can see it takes place in just over two weeks. I have been in training and have lately done a 28 mile ride in just over two hours. My intention is to complete the ride in under 4 1/2 hours. Mind you that is not taking into account the sometimes quite vicious winds that come off the North Sea and batter the coastline.

The Chris Lucas Trust have their own website and it will probably be easier to go there and read about it. Basically though a family lost their son to a very aggressive type of cancer and decided to start raising money to help find out all about this type of cancer. This bike ride has been going for several years now and in the beginning there were only 6 participants, this year they expect almost 1500! So please stick your hands in your pockets and give whatever you can to help this worthy cause every penny counts.
