THE BIG MATCH! Hot News! The All Stars won 5 - 0. Still plenty of time left to give. Help us reach our target. And a big THANK YOU to all who have given already.
On Saturday March 20th at 3pm in Ely, the Cathedral and Diocese All-Stars will be playing Cambridge Castle Free Rangers in order to raise money for the Street Child World Cup. This is taking place at the same time in S Africa, where teams of street children form across the world are playing football to raise awaremess of their plight and to launch a new international campaign to give street children the basic rights of security, housing, education, food and clothing. The event is being organised by the Amos Trust.
Alan Hargrave is captain of the All Stars, with mega signing Hugh McCurdy at centre forward. Philipa 'Chopper' King captains the Rovers. Come and support us. But more importantly - give to the street child appeal.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to Amos Trust for the Street Child World Cup and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. It’s the most efficient way to donate.
So, please dig deep and give as much as you can right now.
Thank you!
Alan Hargrave
