Story
I first heard about Blind Veterans last year when I was out in Germany on the BFBS radio on my way to work. They were talking about a 100k walk London to Brighton which I took part in this year and I'm doing it again this year. After doing this I've just wanted to continue helping this great charity as much as possible and try and push myself as much as I can. This will be the first time I've ran a marathon and I'm looking forward to it. When you go on the website or the blind veterans facebook page and you see all these inspirational people raising so much money in so many different ways, for me it just inspires me to push myself even harder than last year.
Next year I plan on taking part in tough guy, running both the half and full Brighton marathons and also the Edinburgh marathon for Blind veterans as I hope to raise money and awareness for this great charity.
