The Drinks Trust is the charity dedicated to the drinks and hospitality workforce. It strives to empower our people through services designed to assist financially, restore well-being and develop skills, and to do so with compassion and respect.

<p>A really big thank you&nbsp; for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>The&nbsp; annual Mentzendorff Annual Cycle Ride in aid of the U.K Wine &amp; Spirit Benevolent Charity I am coming to you first this year to once again request your support for what will be a special ride and without question our most challenging to date, as we will this year be riding from Champagne, through Burgundy and into the Northern Rhone Valley ending at Chapoutier, the first time we will have ventured so far south, the summary itinerary being as follows: <br />Sunday 5th June: drive to Reims in coach <br />Monday 6th June: &nbsp;depart from Ayala/Bollinger and ride south to Bar-sur-Aube (145km) <br />Tuesday 7th June: &nbsp;Bar-sur-Aube to Ecutigny, Burgundy (175km) <br />Wednesday 8th June; &nbsp;Ecutigny, Burgundy to Pizay, Beaujolais (135km) <br />Thursday 9th June: &nbsp;Pizay, Beaujolais to Tain Hermitage, Chapoutier (165km) <br />Friday 10th June: &nbsp;return to U.K in coach<br /><br />A total of circa 620km at an average of 155km per day. <br /><br />We have a total of 11 riders, including Andrew Hawes&nbsp; and myself from M&amp;Co, plus Andrew Reed (M.D of William Reed -owners of Harpers, Off Licence News, The Grocer, International Wine Challenge), Patrick Schmitt (Editor of The Drinks Business), and Doctors /shareholders of Caviste (independent chain), Connolly's (independent merchant), Amps Fine Wine (independent merchant) and Berry Bros &amp; Rudd. <br /><br />This year also has special relevance in being the 125th anniversary of the Benevolent Charity and we are aiming to break our previous record total with a minimum objective of &pound;12,500...__________________________</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
