Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

It was one of the happiest days of their lives when little Alfie arrived in late August 2018. Unfortunately though, it hasn't been plain sailing since for our friends Katie and Oly Freeman. They soon encountered difficulties and Alfie was diagnosed with a very rare genetic disorder called MECP2 Duplication Syndrome. Following extensive reading and research they decided to put a lot of time and energy in to raising funds for Reverse Rett. This is a research charity supporting families affected by this rare condition throughout Europe with the ultimate goal of finding a cure which they've discovered isn't necessarily that far away. Please read more on Katie and Oly's justgiving page https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/alfies-dream

The funds raised will go a long way to helping the charity achieve their goal of finding a cure through genetic manipulation.

Thank for you taking the time to read this!
