In memory of Jackie Orme
Story
Team Jackie was set up by David Orme following the death of his wife in 2012 from pancreatic cancer; aged just 46. I decided to run The Bath Half with a few friends to raise money for pancreatic cancer research;
On 17th March 2019, Team Jackie will be back at Bath for it's 7th year. We have now raised a mind-blowing ￡246k and are surely going to break through ￡250k mark on 12th March! Over this time we have started to see progress in pancreatic cancer, including from research funded that Team Jackie itself has funded. There is at last the hope of real promise for the future. But the fight has only just started and we need as many of you as possible to keep running.
