<p>&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><em><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial;">A personal message from Alan Whittaker</span></em></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">On 1 May 2011 I am going to begin an umpteen-hundred mile bike ride to Szekesfehervar near Budapest. It is the 20th Anniversary of Chorley's twinning with Szekesfehervar, which was at one time the place where Hungarian Kings were crowned.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The ride should take me about 5 or 6 weeks, and will take me on a route from Chorley through - Hull - Rotterdam - Holland - Germany - Czech Republic - Budapest - arriving in Szekesfehervar.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">One of the charities I am rasing money for is&nbsp;<strong>Help the Homeless Chorley</strong>. This is a local charity which provides a range of much needed services including advice, support, early intervention and prevention services for the homeless, and those at risk of homelessness.</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">I would be delighted if you would sponsor me.
