The Prince's Trust Palace to Palace 2016 · 2 October 2016 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

At the start of 2015 I started cycling again after a break of about 30 years. Getting out in the countryside on a Sunday morning is fantastic and it's inspired me to do the 45 mile palace to palace ride.

Supporting the Prince's Trust will help disadvantaged young people get back on their feet and into jobs.  Who knows it may help inspire the next wave of entrepreneurs.

I'm reminded of the proverb:
"give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime", except that the people supported by the Prince's Trust will then teach others to fish.
