Story

Following last years recce ride to Nepal for training ,this years effort to promote and help WaterAid to facilitate the provision of safe water is by attempting to reach the north base camp on mount Everest !!

The plan is to fly to Lhasa in Tibet , pick up the off road 650cc bikes and then head upwards !

The terrain will be mixed but the altitude is the real challenge.... at 5150 metres the oxygen level is a bit low !

Hopefully we will be successful and I will be able to get some good photographs for next years WaterAid calendar .

Please donate whatever you can to the WaterAid charity who's aim is to provide safe potable water to people on the planet who are dying because they do not currently have access to what we take for granted .

Not convinced that the slight mishap in Botswana was a reason to stop raising funds and the profile of WaterAid, the next mission  is the Gobi desert !

The plan is to cross 1350 kms of the Gobi in Mongolia on a KTM 650.

As the temperatures range from -20 degrees to + 50 degrees I've got my liberty bodice and trunks packed!

Please try to donate.

Many thanks and if I find any water I will photograph it and include the pictures in the 2015 desk calendar

DUMA TAU ROARING LION ENDURO RIDE  - October 1st -12th 2012

Having completed the Camboenduro ride last year and swearing I would never do it again !  Guess what................. !

Yes I'm doing it again........!!!

This time it is back to Africa -  Botswana, Zambia ,Namibia , Zimbabwe and South Africa. The plan is to cover 2600km  offroad in 10 days.

The fact the trip is called 'The roaring lion tour' is a bit worrying as there are no doors or windows to keep closed when passing through lion country !

Please support this worthwhile cause and donate whatever you can !  justgiving/alanhasson

I will endeavour to bring back some good photos for the Alchem calendar

Alan’s CAMBOENDURO Temple Raider

After completing  EnduroAfrica 2008 (accompanied by Princes William and Harry) and last year’s  EnduroHimalya “The Adventure in the Sky”, Alan Hasson will this year be participating in the hardest of them all  Camboenduro “Temple Raider”, a 2-week motor bike trip through 2000 kms of Cambodia, a remote kingdom which is fast becoming the world’s most adventurous dirt bike destination.

As many of you know, Alan Hasson and Alchem Industries have over the years raised money for WaterAid.

Alchem Industries have assigned 2012 the year where we at Alchem will really get serious about raising money for WaterAid,

WaterAid is an international charity whose mission it is to transform lives by improving access to safe water, hygiene and sanitation to the world’s poorest communities and a charity where as a company feel really close to.

Alan participating in Camboenduro is the first step towards our goal of £ 10,000. He is aiming to raise a minimum of £ 5,000. Please help Alan to achieve his goal.

In January 2012 we will also be launching our ever so  useful, informative  and celebrated ALCHEM DESK CALENDAR which can be found in offices, hairdressers (?) and garages all over the world. This will still be made available free of charge to customers but donations towards  for the calendar can also be also made through the JUST GIVING web site. Also if you need additional copies of the calendar, please contact either Fi or Pam (reception@alchem-industries.co.uk).

This will be followed by World Water Day on 22 March and World Toilet Day on 19

November and not to forget the Alchem Charity Ball in October. We will keep you informed throughout the year on other fund raising events.

TODAY 4000 CHILDREN WILL DIE

BECAUSE OF DIRTY WATER AND POOR SANITATION.

PLEASE SPONSOR ALAN TO ACHIEVE HIS GOAL TO

HELP SAVE CHILDREN’S LIVES BY ACCESS TO CLEAN WATER
