A few years ago I was honoured to be asked by Luck Buck to chair the Board of Child's i Foundation, the charity that she had founded to bring about a complete change in the treatment of abandoned children in Uganda.  Child's i has created a small childrens' home in Uganda that acts as a staging point for the resettlement of abandoned children with their families or with Ugandan adoptee families.

Child's i has worked with the Ugandan government to create an Alternative Care Framework in the country, exemplified by the work of Child's i at Malaika Home and by the foster care and social worker system that we have created and by the promotion of in-country adoption.

Please help me continue their extraordinary work.
