Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As an avid lover of the great outdoors, I have always been a keen hill walker. The natural progression of this and a challenge I have set my sights on is the trek to Everest Base Camp. Along with an incredible team, this is an opportunity for me to achieve a life long personal goal and visit one of the World's most amazing places, whilst at the same time raising money for the St. James's Place Foundation.

The Foundation helps those that need it most by making donations to a number of worthy causes.

A number of these causes are charities that my Mum, who we sadly lost to cancer last year, held dear and supported for many, many years.

Please take a few moments to visit our dedicated website to find out more about our trek:

http://www.sjp.co.uk/everest2012trek/index.html

JustGiving is the most efficient way to donate, it's safe, secure and your donation goes straight to the charity - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So, please dig deep and donate now.

Thank you.

Alastair

PS. We have now returned from our trek to Everest Base Camp and it was a truly amazing experience. I have posted a couple of my many photographs.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has donated and posted messages of support....THANK YOU. It is very much appreciated.
