Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 1st May, 2012 I will be trekking the Inca Trail in Peru on behalf of The Simon Community. The Simon Community provide solutions for homeless people in Northern Ireland. For further info visit - www.simoncommunity.org

The Inca Trail is a 30 mile trek through the Andes mountains with one of the most challenging things being the altitude - from 4000m to 6000m (think 3/4 of Mt Everest for scale!).

In addition to the trek itself I'm hosting a Charity Breakfast on Saturday 3rd March at "The Upper Room" in Ahoghill. All the food has been sponsored by Montgomery's of Ballymena so all the proceeds will go to the charity. Check out https://www.facebook.com/events/214220411979540/ for more info.

In additon I'm pleased to advise that Cloughmills CAT have decided to donate the funds raised from their annual Pauline McDonald Memorial Football tournament in June to the Simon Community. it's a 5-aside tournament for girls aged 16+ to be held in Cloughmills on 7th June, 2012 - an entry fee of £15 per team will be payable.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
