We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

There are currently 800,000 people with demetia in the UK.  This is expected to rise to 1 million by 2021.  Dementia describes the symptoms that occur when the brain is affected by certain diseases or conditions.  The most common cause of dimentia is Alzheimers disease.

The Alzheimer’s Society believes that careful planning for the future is needed now to ensure that the right care and support is available.

The funds raised will help the Alzheimers Society to launch 'Live Well' - their first UK-wide dementia carers programme. This pioneering campaign will provide life-changing support for people living with dementia their families and carers.

Dementia affects our brains, and mostly destroys our memories.  Memories make us who we are, if we lose the memories, we lose our personalities.  We will be completing a cycle ride from Lands End to John O'Groats in Spetember.  This is a distance of 969 miles in 9 days.  Any help you can provide us in terms of fundraising will be greatly appreciated.
