I’ve had the late call up from the bench to take part in the London to Paris bike ride to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Society.Ive had to dust off old road bike and attempt to get a couple of miles training before we depart in couple of week. Managed to get 3 rides in last week and have periodically lost some basic function of my legs and started to internal wince every time I sit down..

The pain is a small price to endure given the fantastic work Alzheimer’s Society do in their quest to prevent, support and cure dementia. I’ve had direct experience of  the suffer dementia can bring to families and thus this charity is close to my heart and would greatly appreciate any contributions you can make to raising my fund  target.
