WaterAid is an international non-profit with one goal: to change the world through water. Along with decent toilets and good hygiene, a reliable supply of clean water is essential for health, dignity and a life full of opportunity.

Story

On 3rd August 2018, I will be trekking over 100km within the Arctic Circle in Greenland  (from Kangerlussuaq to Sisimiut) as part of a group of 100 of my bravest HSBC colleagues from around the world. With no access to a shower, 'proper' toilet or the outside world, I will be lugging all of my personal equipment and camping gear for 5 days and will be roughing it in one of the most remote places in the world to raise money for WaterAid. Bring on the challenge!

Currently 663million people (10% of the world's population) live without safe water and over 800 children die every single day from diseases caused by dirty water and poor sanitation. WaterAid aims to transform the lives of the poorest and most marginalised people by improving access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene, and aims to give everyone safe access to water by 2030, so please dig dip and sponsor this worthy cause!
