Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 30th March 2012, I will embark on a 17 day quest to trek to Everest Base Camp, Nepal. This involves trekking at altitude from Lukla, through the Himalayas to Everest Base Camp at 5364m. It also includes a summit of Kala Pattar at an altitude of 5545m. The air will be thin, days will be hard, and the facilities very basic.

Please note that this trek is personally funded and all donations received will go to Dogs for the disabled.

In preperation for this trek, I am running in the evenings, training in the gym and climbing various mountains around the UK at the weekends. Whilst I love the adventure, I am, more importantly, aiming to raise money for my school's charity: Dogs for the disabled. Any donation is greatly appreciated and will entice me to keep trekking when the going gets tough.

I will keep you updated of my progress and be sure to give you a post-expedition review.

Thank you very much for your kind support.
