Brentwood Half Marathon 2014 · 23 March 2014 ·

Every week in the UK, around two families are told their child has neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer. We fund leading research projects to deliver new, effective and kinder treatments for children with neuroblastoma. With your help we can save more young lives.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On March 23rd myself and Chrissie will be running the Brentwood Half Marathon as part of a small army called Lily's Legends who are running for The Neuroblastoma Scoiety.

About Lily: Lily Vidler is the daughter of Vicki and Steve, and sister to Connor and Isabella. She was diagnosed with neuroblastoma when she was 20 months old in August 2013. It is a rare, aggressive type of cancer, affecting only 100 children a year in the UK and early detection is paramount to successful treatment. Symptoms are similar to many common childhood illnesses which means it is often misdiagnosed.

By completing this challenge we are hoping to raise awareness of this awful disease. If we can enable just one parent to catch it early & save their child's life, then something good can come out of everything little Lily, her parents, siblings, grandparents & the rest of her family have endured.
