Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Two years ago my mum was successfully treated for cancer. I'm so grateful for the research over the years that has led to so much success in treating cancer (including hers), but I know that there is still a long way to go.

When I heard that Tesco was running their 'Tesco does Strictly Come Dancing' charity event this year, I applied (with some trepidation). The idea of performing a dance competitively and being voted on by a crowd of people is pretty terrifying - but as Cancer Research UK is Tesco's charity of the year, it was an opportunity for me to step outside my comfort zone to attempt to raise money for a very worthwhile charity - one that my family has already benefited from, and that many others may in the future.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
