It helps children who are suffering from leukaemia and cancer. It also helps members of the family who are in need, hardship or distress while supporting such children.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am raising money for a childrens cancer charity called 'The Emily Ash Trust'. I got to know Emily when I worked with her mum. Emily is a year younger than my sister and was only 5 when she was diagnosed with Leukaemia, she was very brave through her treatment and never complained. Emily is now 15 and since having her transplant 6 years ago is enjoying her new life in Australia.

The charity was set up to improve the lives of children who are suffering from cancer. It is not solely isolated to helping the children directly, but also in improving the lifestyle of the family unit or guardians who are supporting a child.

Every year the charity sends a family to Lapland to see santa as well as arranging Pamper days and Siblings days out, funds are also used for  IT equipment and a holiday home. To see all the good work that the charity does please visit www.emilyashtrust.co.uk
