IRONMAN Wales 2017 · 10 September 2017 ·

Vodafone Foundation are currently raising funds for their All Together Now campaign, to help more young refugees achieve their dreams through access to quality education, by expanding Instant Network Schools, a joint programme with UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency.

Story

3.8km swim in cold Wales waters;  2500m of elevation on the bike; 700m of elevation on the marathon  run! Should be a good day in the office!

For every donation made, I promise to "burn a match" in the race after your name :) In addition to that Vodafone Foundation will double-match your funding so it is a double win-win!

With 1 in every 113 people on the world currently forcibly displaced from their home due to conflict or natural disaster, we are experiencing the largest refugeee crisis since the Second World War. Through "Choose Love" we want to continue to show our support for families and individuals in need. All funds go to UNHCR and Europe's largest distrubitor of aid, Help Refugees.

This year we aim to raise £1 million to support refugees through our "Choose Love" campaign. This build on 4 years of Vodafone support for refugees with the United Nations High Comissioner for Refugees accross Africa and Europe, and 13 years with the Charity Telecoms Sans Frontieres.
