My second time running the GNR after an amazing experience last year thanks to the incredible crowds that help you along the way and the whole day in general is a fantastic experience that I recommend anyone to try once! This year I am running for ‘Team Olly’. Olly is a mascot for my local football team and would always come along to training and matches with his kind bubbly personality, a genuinely lovely kid with a passion for football and talented himself! Olly has been through a lot in this last year as he was diagnosed with a tumour, he is a trooper and has done fantastic with his treatment and recovery. He is hoping to help the RVI and Freeman hospitals improve the facilities for kids his age when at hospital to make the stay as enjoyable as it possibly can be.
