Ride Across Britain · 6 September 2014 to 14 September 2014 ·

We are raising funds for Instant Network Emergency Response (INER). When disaster strikes, Vodafone Foundation volunteers deploy to restore free vital connectivity for families, responders and communities. INER also builds resilience through local hubs to reach more people quickly and effectively.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have chosen to give the running shoes a rest and jump on a bike to cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats, nearly 1000 miles and 9 days, in September.

Anyone who knows me well knows that I do not do anything by halves; so if I was going to jump on a bike, after 20 years, I was going to go the whole way!

What keeps me going will be raising money for the Vodafone Foundation and their work in Lesotho to give children access to HIV/Aids treatment; something I believe strongly, in this day and age, should be readily available to everyone so that they can have the opportunity to live the fullest lives possible.
