What is San2San?
Three years ago, I managed to convince a few of my friends to join me on a cycle trek across from to , which prompted the name “B2B”. This trend for cycle trips with stupid names has continued (Peckham to Paris (P2P) for instance) and, now that the memories of the excruciating climbs through the Transylvanian Alps have faded, we are ready for another epic cycle challenge - this time across Central America, starting in San Jose, Costa Rica and finishing in San Salvador, El Salvador. Accordingly, this trip is called ‘San2San’.
1000km in 10 days
The challenge will require cycling 1000km across 4 countries in just 10 days. It is not only the mileage which will present us with difficulties, there will no doubt also be other 'character building' experiences on the trip; the volcanic mountain ranges, the exotic local wildlife and the odd military coup.

The most important bit – St. Rocco’s Hospice
St. Rocco’s Hospice is a fantastic charity providing two invaluable services; it offers care facilities to those suffering from cancer and other terminal illnesses and it is a great source of support for their families, carers and friends.
The Hospice is open to the young and old, providing its patients with a haven of refuge and hospitality, allowing them to enjoy their remaining span of life in peace, comfort and dignity.
St. Rocco’s is a charity close to my family, as my Mum has worked there for over 10 years, and any sponsorship is very much appreciated.
Many thanks for your support.
