<p><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;"> </span><span style="line-height: 115%; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 12pt;">As a student at Southam College I have been fortunate to be chosen to represent the College on a TEAMS4u foreign project allowing me the opportunity of visiting Uganda and assisting in community projects which will support less fortunate children than myself.</span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0pt;"><span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";"><span style="font-size: small;">As part of the chosen 16 students who will be attending the <span style="letter-spacing: 0.15pt;">Jack Standard School, we will be working with the school on building a ‘water well’ and dormitory for the students.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The school is s</span>ituated at Nangunga, in the Mukono District.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>At present the school is in rented buildings which are not ideal.<span style="color: black;"> There are around 380 children, several of which also board at the school. The classrooms are very basic and extremely overcrowded with little in terms of equipment and resources. There are some offices for the teachers and staff, but again these are cramped and lack appropriate equipment.</span></span></span></p>
