Kent Wildlife Trust - Dragon Boat Race · 12 September 2009 ·

Working with over 11,000 people with a sight impairment in Kent and surrounding areas, we’re one of the largest local sight loss charities in the UK. Our aims are to work to prevent avoidable sight loss, deliver excellent support services and help people to live independently.

Story

Hey - our aim is to raise a hundred pounds per student doing the IB course at Norton Knatchbull School in aid of our participation in the Kent Dragon Boat Race to raise money for Kent Association for the Blind! Each of the students will be dressed in a costume made themselves, with this year's theme being: Indians! The aim is not only to raise money for Kent Association for the Blind but to create a sense of togetherness in the IB Sixth Form Group by helping one another to raise sponsorship money for this event! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
