Thanks for supporting my fundraising.
I am running London Marathon for my Mum, who was diagnosed with breast cancer just before lockdown, and unfortunately during late in 2020 we found out that it had spread to her lungs and bones.
Sadly after a difficult 9 months’ Mum passed away on the 3rd September 2021 at the age of 56. Macmillan played a vital role in her end-of-life care and made a massive difference to her remaining time with us, and to my family’s lives as we struggled to come to terms with the prospect of not having Mum with us. I have felt motivated to give something back to Macmillan ever since.
Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.
