We fund research to stop prostate cancer killing men

Story

So in January 2020 I began training to take on the challenge of cycling from Sheffield to Amsterdam, in a two day, 145-mile bike ride to the Dutch capital. The training started well and was gaining momentum, I was slow and steady and so was my fundraising.. and then bam! Covid hit and through the whole event into doubt and unfortunately it got postponed...

The training slowed and eventually came to a standstill, but the donations kept coming in and Im thankful to everyone who had donated so far!

The Coronavirus has taken over all our lives in a much bigger way than we could have ever anticipated, but luckily a vaccine was created and we are hopefully now through the worst of it and can see a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel, but for thousands of men that battle may have been won but they will continue their own war with Prostrate cancer.

And this made me realise that I needed to pull on my cycling shoes and get training again because unfortunately there is still a long way to go in finding a cure for prostrate cancer and as you can imagine the much needed funding has taken a huge hit this year!

Its now its now February  2022 when am righting this and Im happy to say Football to Amsterdam has been rearrange for June 2022!

Im back in training and month by month I keep increasing my miles. So its now time to begin pushing the sponsorships again. Every donation can go along way to helping find a cure for this illness.

Thanks Alex
