The Movember Foundation raises money and awareness for men's health issues such as prostate cancer, which kills one man every 45 minutes; and testicular cancer, the leading cancer killer of men under the age of 40.

There's also what is described as the "crisis" of men's mental health and high suicide rates (one man every minute), arisen from the ideas that although challenged, do still somewhat exist, that men are discouraged from seeking help with regards to their mental health due to ideas such as "not being masculine enough" (Have a think next time you say the phrase "man up")

These issues combined have created what some call an epidemic of men dying young; the Movember Foundation is tackling this raising money which supports programmes that help and raise awareness of these issues
