Peru Trek · 24 September 2010

Every year we provide care and support to over 6,500 people across South East London, both at home and in the hospice. We passionately believe that everyone should have access to the best care at the end of their lives. We need to fundraise £19.4 million each year to continue our services

Story

Hi, thanks for visiting my page

So, on 24th September 2010 I will be travelling to Peru for 10 days to trek along steep trails climbing to 4400m (that's 14,450 feet in old money), walking through the Peruvian Andes, past green valleys and tranquil mountain lakes and high passes and finally visiting the legendary Lost City of the Incas - Machu Picchu.

I am doing this to raise money for St Christopher's Hospice, a local hospice that provides a special form of care, helping patients and families to cope with life threatening illnesses. St Christopher's is somewhere that my family and friends have been associated with for many years, my Dad and the ARSE members ran from Lands End to John O'Groats to raise money and more recently Dave (a very close family friend) was cared for here, so for me it feels fitting to help them.

So please please, put your hand in your pocket and dig deep!!!!

Many thanks

Alex
