As you all know, my mum has been unlucky enough to have bowel cancer twice. She is now battling with it for the second time and is fortunately on her way to beating it. It has been a long, difficult year for her and she is not through the woods yet, but thanks to the love and support of all her friends and family and the fantastic surgeons looking after her, she is staying positive and on the way to a full recovery.

Please sponsor me to take part in one of Beating Bowel Cancer's boats at the Kingston Rotary Club Dragon Boat challenge on 15th July - captained by Matt Dawson. Moral support also very welcome!  As you know, I love a new challenge and have walked ( a very long way) and run (a bit) for charity over the past year or so. Now I am turning my hand to rowing.
