Every year I see the work's charity challenge appeal come round and every year I think I should enter that but I never do.....this year I finally decided to do it, and managed to convince a couple of other colleagues to do it to - Paul and John thanks in advance for the support!!

I will be taking part in the Premier Foods 2016 Aim Higher Charity Challenge and it takes me to Wales on Friday 9 September, where 150 colleagues will 'Brave the Beacons' on a tough 24 mile hike through the National Park. These are not challenges to be taken lightly! I have committed to raise £250 for Cancer Research UK to support their ground breaking work.

Sadly the cause is close to my heart, having watched my father suffer from different forms of cancer and on the 22nd of March this year he lost his battle, but made me more determined to help to win the war on cancer!

So here I am, doing the easy bit of setting up this page, now let the training commence :)
