London to Brighton Bike Ride 2014 · 15 June 2014 ·

Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

I've been stupid enough to agree to cycle to Brighton on the same day I get back from holiday.  I'm landing (without sleep) at 4:30am and travelling straight to Clapham from Gatwick, to cycle straight back the way I came, past the Airport until I reach the sea...

Basically, I'm an idiot.

I have done a lot of work with BHF and Cardiac Risk in the Young over the past few years.  They're both great charities that recognise that heart desease isn't something which only affects the old - though that is also a subject close to my heart having lost two grandparents, ultimately, to heart attacks.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
