Story
This summer, I am taking on two challenges to raise money for Anthony Nolan. In July, I will be taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge and attempt to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon within 24 hours. My second challenge, which scares me the most, is the Hurly Burly swim in September. This involves an 11km run in Snowdonia followed by a 10km swim - which is considered a marathon length swim...
I am doing this to raise money for Anthony Nolan, a charity who saves the lives of people suffering from blood cancer by facilitating stem cell transplants across the globe. They carry out cutting edge scientific research, fund specialist post-transplant nurses and support patients and their families through the transplant process and beyond.
As someone who lost a very close friend to leukemia last year, this charity really struck a chord with me and the work they do is incredibly empowering!
Thank you!
