Background:
Throughout 2011, we plan a series of fundraising events for The Paul O'Gorman Leukaemia Research Centre at Gartnavel Hospital Glasgow. http://www.gla.ac.uk/about/givingtoglasgow/paulogormancentre/
All gifts no matter how small will go a long way in helping to expand this exceptional facility and let their research continue - with the overall aim being to find new treatments and potential cures for all blood cancers. These will include a golf event, a childrens fun day and sponsored walk over the Erskine Bridge on 1st May, groups of runners taking part in the Ladies 10k on 8th May, a Curry Karaoke night in July in Clydebank and finally a fundraiser dance and grand raffle later in August.

Update 20th September - Donation Received
A collection taken up by staff at Canley Packers in Lincolnshire has raised £654.00. Thank you so much to the staff and to Ann and Ian Johnston for this amazing sum of money.
Update 1st September. WE DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a night! Massive thankyous to everyone who came along, bought a ticket and took part in the raffle and auctions. We raised £3438 on the night. We are grateful to our many friends and local businesses who donated prizes and so appreciative of the people who have continuously supported our events over the past 5 months. Thank You Thank You Thank You on behalf of the Alexander Family. We look forward to presentng this further sum to The Paul O'Gorman Leukaemia Research Centre.
Update 26th August
Our final fundraiser is on Saturday 27th August at St. Eunans Hall, when we will be having a grand raffle, auction and fun and games. Tickets are £7.50 and the event is now sold out!!
Update 10th July
Our Curry Karaoke Fundraiser raised a total of £2270! Wow, Thank you to everyone who contributed to this fabulous night, your generosity was overwhelming and has boosted our fundraising efforts.

Update 16th June - Curry Karaoke Night
A special night at the Boulevard Hotel Clydebank in aid of the Paul O'Gorman Leukaemia Research Centre will take place on Friday 8th July. Included in the £20 ticket price is your two course dinner, glass of bubbly on arrival, half price cocktails, and free entry into the nightclub. There will also be fabulous raffle prizes up for grabs. Tickets are in demand. Speak to Delia, Mags, Claire or Pauline for details.
Update 14th June - £500 donation from the BAE Charities Trust.
Update 9 May - Ladies 10k
Our childrens sponsored walk and fun day was a roaring success. The sun shone and we had over 80 little ones turn up with their families to take part. The atmosphere was great fun and everybody enjoyed the day and the fun and games and goodies laid on for them at St. Eunans hall afterwards. Thank you to everyone who helped us organise this fantastic day. The money for this has started to come in and we should be able to make a huge boost to our fundraising total to date by 15 May when all sponsor sheets should be returned.
