Hi Everyone,

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. As you may know I am running the Virgin London Marathon in April 2010 and am raising money for a great charity – Emmaus. Having only ever raced in a 10km run before this is going to be a huge challenge...and one I am sure will test me to the limit when I am pounding the streets in the dead of winter (instead of being tucked up in the pub with a glass of wine and a pie!).

Emmaus offer homeless people a home, work and the chance to rebuild their lives in a supportive environment – in order to do so they rely heavily on donations from people like us...so dig deep people!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure - they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

***Update 07/03/10: I have just completed the Milton Keynes half marathon in 1 hour 57 minutes...great preparation but the thought of turning around and running the same distance again....eeek!***

***Update 14/03/10: Cake sale today raised £124 to be divided between Emmaus and Seeability...£62 each!***

***Update 26/04/10: RACE COMPLETED IN 4 HOURS AND 47 MINUTES - GET IN!!***
