Judy Walford was my aunt. She died on 28th July 2009, of Ovarian Cancer. Judy was an exceptionally brave woman, who never complained once about her illness. In her memory, I intend to train for and compete in the July 2010 Trentham Gardens half ironman competition. This is a significant challenge for me and I want to use the opportunity to raise as much money as I can for the Eve Appeal (Gynaecological Cancer Research)

The half ironman is:

1.2 mile open water swim

56 miles cycle

13.1 mile run.

Next training session: Run in the morning - 5 miles or so.

With the gift aid added - I'm currently on £1060 of money for the eve appeal!!! Thank you all :)
