On 8 May 2017, after a perfect pregnancy, my great friends Georgia and Dom gave birth to their first child, a daughter called Beatrice Emilia. After an amazing fight, a few hours later at 1.22am on 9 May, Beatrice passed away. To pay tribute to little Bea and her parents’ great strength, I’m joining Team Bea to run a half marathon with Georgia, Dom and lots of family and friends on March 25th 2018. We’ll be keeping Bea’s memory alive by supporting Tommy's, the baby charity.

15 babies die in the UK every single day through either miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal death. Devastatingly, in the majority of cases no reason is found for the loss which makes it even harder for grieving families to understand. Tommy's exists to save babies lives and funds vital research into the causes and preventions of pregnancy complications.
