Hello family, friends & neighbours,

I ran the Brathay Marathon around Lake Windemere on Sunday, May 20 & I wish I could say I enjoyed the scenery! It was very hilly, & way too tough but I finished in under 5 hours which I am very happy about. I am also extremely sore! Running in support of Shelter from the Storm,  a London homeless shelter which provides hot meals & warm beds all year round to those who really need a safe place to stay kept me going. It relies solely on volunteers & donations from the community. Please dig deep and donate now.

And to quote a fellow runner: "If you think being asked for money is a pain, Try running a marathon!"
